We're now hoping to recruit the youth & children's team for Castlewellan Holiday week 2012.
The dates for this year are 4th - 11th August 2012

As most of you will be aware, the Y&C committee stepped down at the end of last year. The new organising team appointed by the main committee now consists of-
  • Stephen McCann - Team Co-ordinator
  • Jud Sweeney - Youth Co-ordinator
  • Pamela Algie - Children's Co-ordinator
  • Ruth Laverty - Prayer Co-ordinator
  • Amy Maxwell - Admin Co-ordinator
  • Phil Patterson - Logistics Co-ordinator

As we begin our planning and preparation we are excited about the opportunity we have been given, especially as we see what God has in store for all of us at CHW 2012! If you feel God is calling you to be a part of the team this year then we'd love to have you serve with us.

The form wiill shortly be available to fill in online at www.castlewellanholidayweek.org if you would prefer to apply that way. The closing date for application forms will be Sat 31st March 2012.

Team fees this year will be £40 for unemployed & £50 for employed people. This covers your accomodation in tents on site and all your food for the week!

The Great Big London Adventure 2012 PDF Print E-mail

When: 3rd - 10th July 2012
Cost: £250 (if booked before March)

This is a trip for any young person aged 14 +

During our time in London we’ll be staying at St Pauls Church, Northumberland Heath, Erith. While we’re there we’ll be taking part in some of the local activites, meeting local young people, visiting homeless shelters and local outreach venues. Alongside all this we’ll be visiting all the London tourist hot spots, including the London Eye, The Tower of London and Madame Tussauds!

If you want to join us on our Great Big London Adventure then you need to do two things;

  1. Fill in the parental permission form
  2. Return the form, £50 deposit & a photocopy of your passport to Ruth no later than 12th February 2012
